The Mavryk, In Plain Terms
The Mavryk is the workhorse of the HLE line — the cutaway shuttle that does church routes on Sunday, ADA paratransit on Monday, and the airport run all week. It rides on the platforms fleets have trusted for decades: Ford E-350/E-450 or Chevrolet 3500/4500.
Configurations run from 12 passengers + 2 wheelchair positions up to 26 passengers, with luggage options for hospitality work. If you’ve pictured a "shuttle bus," you’ve pictured a Mavryk — the difference is what’s under the skin: welded, powder-coated steel-cage construction that’s still tight in year ten.

FTA Altoona 7-year/200,000-mile test PASSED (report 2024-04): 82.6 aggregate, 100% reliability, 98% safety, 97% structural integrity, 53.81 unscheduled-maintenance hours against a 125-hour allowance, zero Class 2 road calls, 47.0 dB(A) at the driver’s seat
Buy America certification is provided per order for federally funded purchases (49 CFR 661). HLE holds state transit contracts in Washington (WSDOT), Oregon, and Minnesota.
